need a push 2 do what i never did :s?
hi.. my situation is not as big as i think u thought.. but it is 4 me after being sooo desperate :s specially these days :1.. ok heres what i wana talk about
am 24 &have been shy all my life from guys now that am that old i really wana get over it &start being my self around people i like.. i am my self when it comes 2 my friends’ bfs or just friends.. so why cant i keep on doin it when am around guys I like?? Instead i make them feel that am not comfortable ¬ pleasant by them bein around.. which makes them surly think that am not interested.. of course i dont like that in me !! but its sth i cant control cuz i panic &do it without thinkin
any ways i have some guy friends who r ready 2 help but i dont want 2 show them that am a failure.. plus i dont want 2 be put in a situation where i would be feelin really awkward & freak out which would make them leave me in the mid of the road thinkin am a hopeless case :s

You’re too old to be acting like this! Take a deep breath and go for it. Yes, there are going to be some awkward moments where you’ll just want to run and hide, but that could have been over and done with when you were my age or younger (I’m nineteen)! It’s all about going out on a limb. Just tell a guy you’re interested in you’re pretty new at the whole dating thing – hell you can even lie and say you’ve just got out of a long-term relationship if it makes you feel any better. It’s just a white lie, it won’t hurt anybody. Anyway, go on a few dates. It’s okay to smile, laugh etc… if you feel like it. Let the guy know you’re pretty nervous – it’ll just make him try to make you feel more comfortable. Right now hun, if you can get past date number one, you’ll be good. Just let everything go naturally.
